Municipality Kozarska Dubica is located just 19 km away from Zagreb-Belgrade highway and connects the municipality with all the European strategic travel corridors and major cities in the region and further into Europe (Zagreb 100 km, Belgrade 322 km, Ljubljana 267 km). There are two border crossings with Croatia, one of them intended for passenger traffic and the other one in Donja Gradina intended for both freight and passenger traffic.

Municipality Kozarska Dubica is in a traffic terms well connected with its narrower and wider surrounding. Distance from Prijedor is 33 km - motorway M-15, from Gradiška is 45 km - motorway M-14-1, and from Kostajnica is 22 km - motorway M-14.

Navigable river Sava, which flows through the municipality, makes this area additionally interesting because of the possibile navigational waterway connections with Europe.
